Valentines Day Hues

I don't know about you, but Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays. I don't know...maybe it's the hopeless romantic in me that swoons at seeing the words of love and the artsy hearts. The corny "you rock!" tags on pop rocks and the conversation hearts in the bowls they place outside the teller windows of the bank.

I love the idea of incorporating more purple into the Valentines Day color scheme.

DIY Button Bracelets!! (super easy!!)

Hey there everyone!! I'm back with another tutorial.

This one's so easy you'll find yourself making TONS of them.

These button bracelets are so cute!!

Okay, so, here's what you need:

Stretchy elastic chord and buttons. (simple, right?)

Depending on the size of the button's you use, you will need about 20-30.

Cut of enough elastic chord to fit your wrist.

Knot it, and begin threading the buttons:

Take the end of your cord, and push it up through one hole of the button. Slide through the whole directly across from it.

Repeat. The buttons will magically form a cool weave type thing.

I'm sorry this is like the worst picture ever. But just look how the cord (colored blue in the pic for clarification) Goes up through one button whole and down the the hole straight across from it (or diagonally from it...whichever you prefer. It doesn't matter, it makes the same design.)

And then just keep weaving until you have it long enough to wrap
around your wrist. Knot the ends together and you're done!! (:
